The forthcoming 2012 Delhi Auto Expo will witness the presence of new Camry sedan along with new Fortuner, Innova and the Prius at the Toyota’s stall next week.
December 30, 2011: The all new 2012 model of the Toyota Camry sedan will be officially making its debut at the upcoming 2012 Delhi Auto Expo. This new Camry will be brought as a CKD unit in the country, instead of being imported as CBU kit. The premium sedan will be assembled locally at Toyota’s Bidadi facility. The local assembling will enable the company save expenses on duties and price the new Camry sedan competitively in the Indian luxury car market.
The 2012 Toyota Camry is the Japanese Domestic Market specification version. The front of the luxury sedan is completely different from the current model with headlights having less aggression and smaller grille. The overall aesthetics of the car is classic than sporty.
The new Camry will be accompanying the face-lift version of Fortuner, Innova and the new Prius hybrid sedan at the Toyota’s stall in Pragati Maidan, at the exposition.
